The topic this month was “Understanding and Qualifying for Cyber Insurance” where we explained exactly what cyber insurance is, what it covers, why you need it and then went through an application form to explain what kind of IT information insurance companies need.

Advantage Technology teamed up with Capital Insurance Group to present this eye-opening Advantage Lunch on understanding and qualifying for cyber insurance.

Capital Insurance Group’s Donteako "Don" Wilson explained all the ins and outs of cyber insurance and Advantage Technology’s Rob Dixon explained what kind of threats are out there.

Donteako "Don" Wilson

Don Wilson is a Partner at Capital Insurance Group LLC a full service insurance agency located in downtown Charleston, WV. Don has nearly 10 years of experience in the insurance industry and has specialized in home, auto and business insurance for the past 6 years. He is the former chairman of Generation Charleston, the states largest young professionals organization. He holds seats on the board or directors of Goodwill Industries of Kanawha Valley, Eastend Main St, Fesitvall Charleston, Keep Your Faith Corporation and African American Philanthropy in Action.

Rob Dixon

Rob Dixon is an information security expert with nearly 20 years of industry experience. In addition to his experience with private sector security, he has participated in events with The State of West Virginia, the NSA and DHS. Rob possess many information security certification, including certifications in computer hacking forensics and penetration testing.
