Charleston's Business Continuity in an Unpredictable World

Charleston, WV is the capital and largest city of the U.S. state of West Virginia. The city is known for its scenic location where the Kanawha and Elk Rivers meet, as well as its rich history, culture, and outdoor recreational opportunities. Charleston is home to a number of cultural institutions such as the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences, as well as the West Virginia State Museum. Additionally, the city hosts a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, including the Vandalia Gathering, the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta, and the Dirty Birds baseball games.

On Tuesday, April 4th the city was host the Business Continuity in an Unpredictable World lunch and learn featuring Sonicwall. Specifically we were at Edgewood Country Club. Through the training, we covered some of the best tools in the IT industry to prevent and detect malicious attacks, and prepare backup plans to keep a business operational in case of system failure.
