Advantage Technology helps an Italian company reuse discarded plastics
In 2018, Italian company, TeMa Technologies & Materials, began construction on a 42,000-square-foot facility in the small community of Kearneysville, WV. This facility would manufacture the same construction materials as the mother company, using recycled plastics, for distribution in the North American market. Dubbed TeMa North America, the location was a perfect fit given that 60% of the US population is within a 500-mile radius of Kearneysville.
With the factory location solving the logistics problem and construction ready to begin, there was still another challenge that needed to be addressed, information technology. All the factory and administrative controls needed to be integrated with the mother company’s IT for a seamlessly integrated business environment. To accomplish this, TeMa North America turned to Advantage Technology.
Advantage Technology supplied all the IT infrastructure, including structured cabling, Wi-Fi, security cameras, telecommunications, servers, workstations, laptops, tablets, and managed services and integrated their systems with the other international locations.
TeMa North America still relies on Advantage Technology for managed services and IT support to this day.
