Advantage Technology began with Richard Wilbur III providing IT consulting from a spare bedroom in early 2000. After working for several consumer-driven IT businesses directly out of college, he saw an opportunity to provide groundbreaking, enterprise-quality IT solutions to the business community. He quickly hired staff and moved to a small office complex in downtown Charleston, WV. It wasn’t long before that facility was too small and Advantage Technology moved to 814 Quarrier street where it remained for over a decade.
On January 27th Advantage Technology joined with the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce and local leaders to celebrate the opening of our new office at 1509 Johnson Avenue in Bridgeport. Located in the growing central West Virginia region, this new office helps us quickly address customer needs all over West Virginia. While we had a previous office in the area, this new facility offers more space and quicker deployment to our customers.
It was a great time with an Open House following the ribbon cutting. We all enjoyed a little lunch and showcased the location.
