Larry Light with Dell EMC started things off with a recap of the state of Dell Technologies since the merger with EMC.
After the quick introduction, Tim Barrett and Rohan Kamat with SonicWall dove into the cybersecurity landscape. Thir presentation started with a real-time view of cyber attacks happening in the world and went into a discussion on the number of devices that are connected today. Every connected device is a potential point of attack, and with computers, phones, and tablets, people have many devices today.
Tim and Rohan go on to explain many of the features of SonicWall’s threat breach detection and prevention technology. Then they perform some live demos that illustrate how many third-party websites are involved in ordinary, everyday news sources.
For the remainder of the presentation, Tim and Rohan take a deep dive into a SWARM report. The SWARM report takes about seven days and involves the installation of a SonicWall device on your network. Data is gathered, and an executive report is generated to give you an idea of what kind of traffic is actually on your network.
