It’s been difficult finding nice, sunny days this summer. Unlike last year when we had a wonderful picnic at Kanawha State Forest under sunny skies, this year the threat of rain has been hanging around every weekend. So rather than risk having our company picnic ruined we tried something new. We literally had an office picnic in the office!
Which works out great, by the way, because our new headquarters at 950 Kanawha Blvd E is amazing! On top of the seating, the kitchen is fully decked out with a stove, two refrigerators, two microwaves and two dishwashers. We even have a deck with picnic tables and a brand new grill!
Yeah, we’ve got it pretty good at Advantage Technology. But the truth is, it’s the people that came to the picnic that really makes going to work so great. It’s more than just a place to go to get a paycheck. And seeing everyone bringing their spouses and kids, cooking, cutting vegetables and grilling just to have a good time together really shows that we’re more than just co-workers, we’re a family.
