From day one, I set out to build an inclusive culture at Advantage Technology—one driven by self-directed, highly motivated professionals committed to excellence. That people-first approach powers the exceptional service and long-standing client relationships we enjoy today.
As founder and president, I’ve led Advantage Technology from a one-person startup to a full-service IT firm based in Charleston, WV—now employing over 60 professionals, with an additional 12-person team in Morgantown. I started in the trenches as a hands-on systems engineer—earning my MCSE in 2000, logging 80-hour weeks, and solving mission-critical issues on site. That experience still drives us: Advantage Technology isn’t run by a hired executive; it’s led by a technologist who built this company from the ground up.
In 2022, I relocated to Downtown Frederick, MD to launch a strategic hub that places 6.5 million people within a 45-minute radius—enabling high-touch support across DC, Northern Virginia, and suburban Maryland. That vision is taking root: we’ve already grown our Frederick office to over 10 team members and continue expanding.
Ranked as Maryland’s fastest-growing county—recording 7.5% population growth between 2020 and 2023—and home to nearly 80 bioscience companies at the northern end of the I-270 “DNA Alley” tech corridor, Frederick offers a dynamic, innovation-rich environment that perfectly aligns with our forward-thinking culture.

With Frederick as our launchpad, we’re disrupting the Mid-Atlantic IT landscape, redefining service expectations, and steadily capturing market share.
